They are mostly winter portraits mixing it with vintage native tile patterns.

A lot's going on, as usual, and I miss my blog and to talk a little about my illustrated ladies.

I'm working in a several women portraits (women for now, I'll probably include some men also), in a fusion with the traditional Portuguese tiles.
This work is like an extension of a series I made when I was in university:

I like this time of the year, The Autumn, nature changes are very rich and inspired. It's so amazing to capture the amount of colors, beautiful greens and browns palette plus the shapes and the acorns falling in the ground.

I'm collecting, by draw, some amazing and elegant naked native tree's silhouettes which I screen printed on paper with the colors of the season.

They are 4 different for now but I plan to add some more to the collection.

summer is over

.a corner of my current home with new hanging walls, postcards, a Drop Girl sachet, books and beautiful fabric flowers made by the talented Cordemar, on a tin covered with fabric.

... and I'm back after my double moving.
This year I'm settled in a very nice and peaceful place, surrounded by mountains, oaks, oregano and many other native trees and plants.
The work keeps going on, I've been doing more hanging walls and brooches. All made by air drying clay and painted with tiny brushes.

These are the last ladies I've been working on - Ugly Face -
Introducing something new to the hand embroidered women, doing collages of pieces of my gocco screen printing tests. I like it so much, it gains a 3D effect and also I'm reusing the tons of paper I have in my studio.

Friendship is the latest gocco print amongst many other artworks I'm doing and that need to be shared with you. It passed so long since my last post here, I miss this a lot.
How do you do? How can you have a twitter, a shop, a blog, a site, flickr, family, dog, cat, do the laundry, etc... in 24 hours? :OOO Do you have a twin? Do you have 4 legs and 2 heads? ehehe
Oh my! I need a 48 hours day.
