Inspired by the first Autumn raindrops and the first mushrooms that appear in the woods, I've been very busy with my gocco.

November Tree still has twigs but she's getting bald everyday with the soft winds.
It's a limited edition of 50.

Pumpkin Girls it's a portrait of girls playing Bolinhos e Bolinhós.
Like Halloween, in Portugal we celebrate the traditional 'bolinhos e bolinhós', on October 31.
The children, wearing costumes and usually with a hollow pumpkin or an illuminated box with a candle, go from door to door in the neighbourhood singing a particular song so they can be rewarded with apples, candy or dry fruits.
It's a limited edition of 100.

Mushroom Girl is a happy girl who lives in the woodland.
A limited edition of 50.

Small Feet Man is shy and he likes to walk with his dog in the woods, behind the bushes.
It's a very small limited edition of 10.

Natural Wire keeps exploring my latest work 'twig in the wind', trying to do a balanced movement composition with graphic representation of pieces of nature.
Its a small edition of 40, printed in turquoise&silver, on a professional cold pressed watercolor paper 200g (90 lbs).

new place, new walls, new smells, new colors... again ... and the first sketch and pic from here.

After playing a lot with my latest gocco print, Twig in the Wind, I decided to do a series of 3 different colour combinations in limited edition. I tried to explore the fusion between calligraphy (also street art) & the representation of a 'piece' of nature and its elements, in a balanced movement composition.

The Fall, ... ...when the green ground starts to be warm, red and orange, dancing with the ethereal winds :)

A treasure - wallet - for me that my dear friend Sandra from Kleinod sent me a while ago.
Sandra makes beautiful and dreamy wallets, choosing carefully the outer composition and the fabric inside. My wallet was made with the fabric I screenprinted "pinheiros mansos'. I'm very happy with my gift, many thanks :))

A treasure - bag - that my dear friend Josee from zenzhetty sent me a few days. I'm carrying it everyday, it's spacious, very well made and with a very beautiful composition. Josee used a piece of fabric '100% Português' i screenprinted. With the bag also came a cool and very useful roll for my brushes that I'm already using too. I'm a lucky person :DD Many thanks!

the summer

some fun at the beach and a 4 legs buddy Farai

the month passed too quickly and I finally finished storing all the stuff from the year we lived in Benavente.
the vacations were all about building closets and cabinets in my home and hanging some treasures in the walls.Just a few hours on the beach to smell the salt sea and run a bit with Mini Mirtillo in the wet sand

but

since yesterday i know that i have to move again, south one more time, near the Majestic Serra Arrábida

so

it's boxing time again, looking for a home to live one year, a few days without internet, and carrying with love and care my studio | work

I'll miss my home, again, and my walls!

I've been looking for years for cards or postcards made of wood, of any size, to do some experiments like Gocco prints. Finally, i found them at:

Unfortunately they are far away, in the USA, and i can't buy as much as i would like to, so i can do manyyyyyyyyy gocco prints as i wish. I really love these wooden cards!

Brian's Symphony is also a new work, born from an old project, ehehehe, which I've been preparing for almost a year. I wanted him to be perfect, since it is a tribute to my dear musician friend artist super cool person, with the most wonderful humour, from http://westernartglass.blogspot.com/ and http://westernartglass.etsy.com :))

It's an edition of 30 gocco prints on paper, 4 journals, 4 gocco and hand illustrated and i'll do some bags for underwear too.

I'm not working, lately, as the bee i used to be, many things going on here including issues in my computer, and some breaks in my brain. I like to call it 'the time to think', something that makes part of the creation process. But i've been missing you all! :)

Today I have many reasons to celebrate and share happiness!

I received the most precious pouch for my brushes from Rikkianne .

For those of you that don't know her, she is the fabulous designer and creative from Chakra Pennywhistle , who made the coolest wallets and pillows with eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and money bags. Yeah! With working money bags and i love them so much, I'm a lucky one, my pouch is made of one, even says 'mint' (mentol). I can feel a story behind this bag, the life it had in the past and the new one with me and brushes!

I'm sure, every time i use one I'll smile :)
